People’s Choice Awards 2024
The best of the year in pop culture, music, movies, and television is up for grabs this year. The 2024 People’s Choice Awards, hosted by Simu Liu, were broadcasted live on NBC, Peacock, and E! from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.
The number of categories has increased to 45 this year. Films like “Barbie,” “Openheimer,” “The Little Mermaid,” and others are up for awards, while TV shows like “Grey’s Anatomy,” “The Last of Us,” “Vanderpump Rules,” and more are nominated.
There are many award shows, but the People’s Choice Awards is one where fans get to vote and choose the winners.
Tonight, some of Hollywood’s biggest stars have come together at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, for the 2024 PCA. Simu Liu is the organiser of this celebration, which honours the finest films, TV shows, songs, and popular culture from the previous year.
Ryan Gosling for Male Movie Star of the Year, Margot Robbie for Female Movie Star of the Year, and America Ferrera and Liu for Movie Performance of the Year.
When it comes to TV, the drama “The Bear” leads with five nominations, including Jeremy Allen White for Male TV Star of the Year and Ayo Edebiri for TV Performance of the Year. “The Last of Us” is another fan favorite. HBO’s “Servant” not only nominated for Show of the Year and Drama Show of the Year but also competing against Pedro Pascal for Male TV Star of the Year and against Costar Bela Ramsey for Drama TV Star of the Year.
